Paddlestart Taster session

2 hour course  just £15 per child/adult

Age 9 years old adult and beyond!

Paddle Start is a great way to give your children confidence on the water adults welcome to (make it a family outing).  Course’s are run by our highly experienced coaches. Children will learn about river safety,  the basics of canoeing in Canadian canoes, and some fun canoe games. The course is run in small fun groups of 8 to 12 , 2 per canadian canoe, and options for Kayaks, so great for encouraging teamwork and of course outdoor activity and an introduction to a great new sport.

Paddle Power Passport

Locatio: Grove Ferry Picnic Site

Start Time 1030am Finish Time 1130am Sundays

Age 11 years to 13 years

The Paddle Passport courses is an introduction course ideal for kids wanting to learn to paddle, the course will work on key paddling skills to make any participant confident and safe on the water. The course is very colourful and youth centric, run by our experienced coaches, ensuring the best possible experience. The course will cover both canoe and kayak and include wet sessions where capsize and rescue drills will be practice.

BCU 1 Star Award

1 day course  just £ 65 per person.

Location :- Grove Ferry Picnic Site CT3 4BP

Start Time 09:30 Finish 16:00

Age 13 years old to Adult

The BCU 1 star award is ideal for adults and children who are 13 plus.  We spend the day on the water with a break for lunch so please bring a sandwich.  During the day you will learn paddling techniques which will give you confidence and control on the water. To achieve the award a controlled capsize is required at the end of the session (so please bring a change of clothes).  Participants who don’t wish to do the capsize are able to opt out if they wish and just benefit from learning paddling skills.

This is a great course for parents to do with thier teenage children enjoying teamwork, bonding and outdoor activities.
